FMV OnStar

This may not belong here so please don't flame but wanted to share.
My base 09 Sports Package came with the stock radio which has been long gone for some time now. Replaced it with a jvc unit but had no bluetooth or
nav. so i got a FMV OnStar mirror for christmas. and must admit it's a pretty cool device. comes with bluetooth which i link with my iphone for hands free
calling. and the nav system is first rate. with turn by turn directions without having to take your eyes off the road. and i can download directions from
map quest or google maps right to the mirror.

anyway though it does seem strange driving a Z with a GM product in the car.
but service has been first rate no issues.

You have to pay a monthly premium for the service, right?

Hey Jose, yep you have to pay a monthly fee.

Safe and Sound is about 19 bucks and Directions and Connections is about 29. Then if you want to use the phone you need to buy minutes.

Not cheap, but it's a nice system to have. We have it in our Equinox.
