Wow thanks for all the replies so far, I'm thinking Manual is the way to go eh?!

@FL 4Motion I've just been doing payment estimators online. And truecar.com shows at Invoice Price a 2012 Touring Manual Gun Metallic with Sprt Package, Nav unit, Kickplate, splash guard, Carpeted front/trunk mats to be around 39,414. With 11,000 downpayment it shows around 500 bucks. And I have a Credit Score of 740 right now, I figure at best I'll get 2.99% for 60 months.

Does that sound good?

Yes that payment seems pretty high, although I would never buy a brand new car these days because you can get just as good of a warranty on a used car while literally saving thousands! I was in a very similar situation as you last April. I had $12,000 to put down and got 2.34% financing for 72 months (had a credit score around 780). Anyways I got a 2010 Nissan certified base with sport package, 19K miles and I bought the additional "Nissan wrap" warranty that covers just about everything on it for up to 100K miles. My monthly payment is only $299/Mo.

Obviously get what you want, but just some food for thought! Welcome to the board btw!

If you're gonna get a nismo, don't cry about not having those extra features. Too many people trade it back because they wanted navi, or some other nonsense.

if you want to know if they hold up well/last, they do both great. i have over 80000 on my Z, all me, and no issues with the clutch but then again i'm not a manual n00b. overall they hold up great but tires/oil changes are frequent. sport package brakes hold up well too, no squeaks or anything else. get the Z you want

:iagree:

When I sold my 03 350z it had nearly 90K miles on it and ran like it was brand new.
