For the last few months its been at

1USD = 1.06AUD

Now its 1USD=0.98AUD

We call it the Australia Tax, everything here is more expensive lol.

So basically 1:1. Damn, you're paying a lot for that oil, lol.

Yeah, I paid within a few cents of that the first change that I had. Now I use Mobil 1 and take it to them. With some of the deals and rewards points that I've gotten at Autozone, a 5liter jug ends up around $25.

Yup, that's about what I'm paying for Pennzoil Ultra at Wal Mart.

Mine too. I pay for a 15 dollar oil change every other oil change for 100k miles

nmjaxx9 12-24-2011 12:27 AM

^^lucky

My first oil change with nissan was $115, never went back since, doing it yourself saves time, money, and gives you satisfaction in knowing the job wasn't half-assed and over priced.

Yeah you can't beat free, but for those of us who weren't fortunate enough to get the free oil change for life, doing it yourself is the next best thing.

i agree, wasnt disputing that lol its all good!

Every time i go its differnet. One time it was free, one time it was 90 something like yours, one time it was 14 and then this last time it was free again.

I usually take it to one of two dealerships depending on what state im in.

jaedub 12-24-2011 03:00 PM

I just take it to a local jiffy lube. $60 for a synthetic oil. Not too bad

freking8 12-24-2011 05:45 PM

I pay $60 for Mobile 1 synthetic at my local Nissan dealer

Mt Tam I am 12-25-2011 09:59 AM

I remember the sales managers face when he told me $110 for the oil change, a great big smile.

Then I informed him I am on the Gold maintenance plan and it is free.

The speed at which his face changed, to shock, still sticks in my memory.
