You will notice the thin bar code in the lower right corner...police depts have a new system (many are trying it out now) where they can cruise thru a pking lot and the system will scan both sides of the lane for stolen tags or tags on the wrong kind of car. Big brother IS watching

We have that except it doesn't read a bar code. It just reads the plate number and runs it through a system.

I have read that most cops turn the system off though because it's annoying. :rofl2:

Yeah, but I can legally cover that with a frame. I'ts just the "ARIZONA" between the top screws they don't want covered. We have a local dealership who evidently had alot of "illegal" frames left, as they are sending out new cars with the area between the screws totally removed. Like " [__] " Looks really bad. Not as bad as Earnhardt's in Phoenix who drilled through my FIL's Chrysler's front bumper to mount their dealership plate though (no front plates in AZ).:icon14:

me too!! i was pissed when i took it off to find scratch marks all around the plate... so thats why i got the one i got...

Yeah dealerships make me cringe man. I'm just glad they didn't drill into the front!

no kidding. When i bought the car i told them, do not put that plate holder on! They said they usually dont unless asked to do so...

Unfortunately mine came with it on :( but im going to get some apoxy and fill it in and paing it flat black...Im hoping it matches up decent.

That's the same one I had for about two weeks. The extra holes at the bottom drove me crazy though!:tup:

anyone elses license plate not sit completely flush against the bumper on one side? Mine kinda sticks out on the right end, while the left is completely flush against the bumper, kinda like the plate is bent a little.

OEM black NISMO plate on my PW, well worth the $45, got many compliments on it and the thing is made in good quality. It is also the only excuse I can get to rep the Nissan Motorsport logo. :)
