What's the major difference between 2011 and 2012

I am looking to lease a 2012 touring sport 6mt and I see the dealer has 2011 same car. Does it pay to wait for 2012

Red__Zed 11-16-2011 12:44 PM

Oil cooler

StillenFL 11-16-2011 12:52 PM

thats the only thing? I am having a hard time finding 2012 and my lease is running out.
Thanks

Also, check the money factor and residual.

kenchan 11-16-2011 01:13 PM

one is newer than the other...

StillenFL 11-16-2011 01:15 PM

I figured the money factor would be different. I am just so surprised dealers in South Fl have no selection. I have owned 95 Rx7 and s2000 Corvette z51 and walked right in bought the cars no problem. All they have is automatics

kenchan 11-16-2011 01:18 PM

MT is not offered in 2012. ;)

Nissan.com says it comes in manual.

op- im just teasing you cause the difference between 2011 and 2012 is so minor it's really not much to discuss about. the oil cooler was added but that's not a real cooler you'd be using for track use anyway.

Thanks for the info

To answer your thread's question as stated in its title, there is exactly a one-year difference between 2011 and 2012. I am glad to help.

Good luck leasing a Z. It's probably cheaper to buy it. Just saying.
