First act of hate

Came home from work last night............someone decided I needed some key marks in my ride. Damn the bad luck. I believe in Karma, so this individual will be screwed in the end.

ianthegreat 05-13-2009 10:08 PM

:worthless:

NotmyGTR 05-13-2009 10:50 PM

Worthless then...

Spent the better part of the day today with a buffer, scratch remover, and meguiars gold fixing the scratch. Some say "Its just a car".....but I protect and respect my investments. So I guess its worthless, cause I already fixed it.

TacoZ 05-13-2009 11:01 PM

We respect others properties...why can't they respect ours?

Zboi513 05-13-2009 11:11 PM

cause they are jealous.... and dont give a crap about other people or their property

axio 05-13-2009 11:37 PM

NotmyGTR, sorry to hear about that. How deep are the scratches? Were you able to polish them out? My wife's car was keyed and I was able to polish most of it out with a rotary. It took a very long time, but I was able to do it. Used a few different types of pads and Meguiar's polishes but it mostly came out. The only time you can see it now is in sunlight from just 2-3 ft away if you already know where it is and if you're really looking for it. Don't give up, you might be able to fix it

EDIT: Argh, sorry, just looked closer and saw that you fixed it. Glad to hear that!

My wife's car was keyed once too, but the damage was right down to the metal and required a paint job. Sucks when this happens, sorry to hear it happen to you.
