Cool story bro.

Anyway, looks like I am keeping my Z06. Nissan isn't building the 370Z the way I want it. Worse things have happened :tiphat:

The car gods have spoken, lol Z06>370Z

Just saying, if I can't have what I want, why give up what I spec'ed part by part? Screw Nissan if they won't build a 370Z with a 6-speed and NAV. I can take my business elsewhere, or just keep what I have as I DO enjoy it. Either way, I'm not buying a 370Z I kindof like. I'd only spring for one that was loaded the way I wanted it.

Why the hell won't they build a 6spd with nav? There are plenty of 6 spds with nav!!!

Where? Know of one? I'll buy it if the numbers are right:

2012
Gun-metal
6-speed standard
Touring
Sport
NAV
Black Leather
PREFER...splash guards and lit door-sills, but not necessary.

No kidding there is. Everyone says it can't be done. Both Nissan dealers in my town, and a guy on the forum who have access to what Nissan is/is not shipping.

Why they are somehow out of NAV's/not putting them in the 370Z, I have no idea. There are only 2 cars coming to US soil like I want between now and the end of the year as I understand it, and both are in Cali. I don't think that's going to work for me with the trade-in and all...

You know you could just add in the factory navigation after you buy the car right?

ImportConvert 10-31-2011 03:30 PM

Sorry for getting bent out of shape over it, but I was all pumped about the Z and finding out that Nissan isn't putting NAVs in the car configured how I want except for 2 lonely examples across the US from me ticks me off. I need some sleep. Had a bad weekend at work and am up WAY past my bedtime testing some new TSX 50gr 5.56 ammo that arrived in the mail last week :)

Yes, I could, but something about that just doesn't appeal to me, logical or not. I do not want something that some dealership employee spliced on if I can AT ALL avoid it.

you have a Z0000, life is good

Yes, yes it is. I'm not complaining in the least, but was hoping for a bit of a change as detailed throughout the thread.

If Nissan cannot produce the car I want by the end of the year I will just slap some PS2-ZP's and Avery Denison film on the 'vette and call it good. Will quiet down the ride a lot and the new wrap is a ton better than the Ventureshield currently on it in my opinion.
