Phone Question
I have the Touring/Sport with Navigation. When I click the phone button on the steering wheel (or phone botton on Nav board) and select "Phonebook", only the first two screens of my phone numbers pop-up (Phone listings 1-6 and 7-12). It doesn't scroll for all my other phone numbers I programmed. When I am stopped, however, all phone numbers are available. I think it's a glitch. Anyone out there experience the same thing? thanks!

Might be a safety feature perhaps? Just like how you can't add a destination in your nav while driving.

I would find it odd that they would limit it to 12 numbers but Molamann migth be right. I could see why they would want you scrolling through 100 numbers while driving. Weird but it makes sense.

Didn't know if I should start a new thread or not, but has anyone had problems with people you call not being able to hear you? If so, is there anything to fix this problem. (without yelling at every caller)lol

I tried to use it while parked with the car running today and the sound was much better. But people still have a hard time hearing me if I'm moving. Just wondered if there was anything I need to be sure to do to get the best volume going out as possible. Thanks

I have no issues with the phone reception, hearing calls or those hearing me, works great whether parked or driving. Back to my original post - you can only load 40 numbers (not hundreds). It's weird how you can scroll through 2 pages (first 12) but not the remaining 28 entries. It isn't a safety issue and the manual says you can review all of your phoneboodk (40 numbers). I'm at a loss. Not a big deal but it's annoying.

Although I haven't checked the phone yet, I would say it's a safety thing. Same thing happens for points of interest. I try finding restaurants in the area, while driving. Only first page works while driving. If you stop, it lets you go to the next page and next page etc. If you start driving again, it's a no go for paging.

The microphone in our cars are pretty crappy.. Everybody can't hardly hear what im saying unless i'm yelling.. I've even upped the "outgoing volume" to max on the Nav unit and it didn't help much.. if i'm driving, people are constantly saying "What?" to me. I hope it's not hard to swap in a better microphone.. I think it's in the overhead lighting panel.

I can for example communicate to passenger while directing the GPS. All I have to do is say the commands to the GPS slightly louder then normal conversation with passenger. This means the sensitivity turns up or down based on the road noise and any other sounds around you (might be my phone's functionality). Either way mic is good, road noise might be a problem.
