^ thank you it was late. Wouldn't give the wife up for it though but I'd be lying if she didn't get mad or jealous over the car at least once.

It's just a flippin car....

Red__Zed 10-11-2011 11:20 AM

How does the car have qualms?

edub370 10-11-2011 11:46 AM

I love my car, but i also love women.... no sex, no thanks. this thread should be called "calling all virgins"

i mean my car is great and i wont get rid of it for a long time, but at the same time a z cant give me old fashions or make me dinner

NYBladeZ 10-11-2011 12:19 PM

Qualm: An uneasy feeling about the propriety or rightness of a course of action

Ever drive the m6 and have an issue getting into 1st? There you go.

The car can't have qualms...it's an inanimate object, and it would be YOU having the qualms in that situation.

Proper use would be "I'm having some qualms about the issues my car has"

I think he meant QUALM :)

qualm *(kwäm, kwôm)
n.
1. A sudden feeling of sickness, faintness, or nausea.
2. A sudden disturbing feeling: qualms of homesickness.
3. An uneasy feeling about the propriety or rightness of a course of action.

i know what he meant, and what the word means....qualm doesn't make any sense in that sentence though.

You are imagining sex with a bucket of rusty nails! How long have you been in the desert??!!!:icon18:

One of the guys i worked with during my first deployment would say "I would rather f%^$ a bucket of rusty nails." It's one of those things I haven't forgot cause he would always say it at times that would make people laugh.

I'm going to pistol whip the next guy that says qualm

Hearing you say that is giving me qualms about using the word qualm.

:iagree: Save me $30,000 plus 1 year being busy working on the car with aftermarket stuff. My 240sx project was a 2 year project and only cost me $8000.

But if there's a choice between 370z or 1 night with a super hottie..... :tiphat:

I love that 11 370Z setting in my garage. You know new car feel sporty driving etc. I also love my wife for all the other personal reasons. But I really really LOVE my 1966 SS Chevelle in the garage. That car is just a different beast but a beautiful beast.
