People where I come from are douche bags. I parked in a appartment complex I have never been in before to chill with a buddy of mine. Again I parked away from everyone around me and someone thought it would be cool to hock a loogie on my passenger door. They also left a burning cigarette on my wiper blades.

Needless to say I never brought the Z there again.... cursed car...

Happened to me atleast 3 times already since ownership of the Z..

I try to find an area where nobody in their right mind would park (way out there) and each time I come back to my car, some not-so-well taken care of car is next to mine. Irritates the piss out of me.. but they obviously did it on purpose to achieve desired affect. Luckily, no door dings or scratches yet.

I usually try to park in a spot where my driver's side is facing the curb (I always park head out). That way, I'll know for sure I'll be able to get into my car. I've had a LOT of instances where dumb people would park so close to me to the point I had to jump through my passenger side to get in. Also, if you park head out and driver's side towards the curb, you'll be on the passenger side of the person next to you if they choose to park like a normal person (head in). Usually in a school parking lot, it's less likely that there's a passenger.

I had a similar situation. I went to the movies the one night and it wasn't too busy so I found a parking spot kinda close but way off to one side of the parking lot. 3 spaces on my left open 2 on my right. My wife and I go into the movies to see the new x-men movie. Come out and some busted picked up truck parked so close that I had to back my car out of the spot just so my wife could get in. I mean our doors were no more than 5" apart. Then I see the a$$hole come out to his POS and just stand there and watch us, laughing with his buddies. What pisses me off about this even more is that we are both in the military stationed on the same base.. GRRRRRRR

It's amazing how much hate/jealousy other drivers have when they see a nice car. I've driven way lesser cars and my respect for other cars never change no matter what I drive. It's just sad that people act like this..

I can respect someone with a nice car trying to keep it nice. 25K+ is about the threshold I can understand.

What I can not understand is the guy in a 17K scion tC who double parks so no one can park directly next to them. It really isnt an issue for me other than the fact that its illegal and if its somewhere like a shopping mall Id rather not have to take the shuttle to get to the entrace.

I think I can understand anyone wanting to take care of their stuff, low dollar car or not. My first car was a POS by most people's standards, but I still took great care of it. I don't like double parkers though. It's a parking lot, people need to park.

I really hate it when someone with a Bike parks in a car space when there is bike parking 10 feet away..

i know how u feel, i used to park really left next to a car so the driver whoes getting in their car to my right doesnt ding my sh*t. even tho i would leave myslef a foot to get out, im thin so its all good, haha i remember i went to the gym and and this carrera s white parled far away form the other cars, i parked right next to him, not being a jerk, but i jus wanted to see his car, but i gave him alot of room to get in his car.
