Oh I know, my best friend got his 5.0 a couple weeks after I got my Z. I know all about it's superiorities that DSport seems to not have been able to take advantage of.

I just love that while they're saying it's the best rwd car of 2012 they do a pretty good job of bashing it at the same time. It's hard to believe they actually liked it.

Nissan drivers are a huge portion of their reading demographic. No euro guys read it, no Domestic drivers read it...pretty much between the genesis and the z. It's just good business. :tup:

Their "downsides" to all the cars are designed to play right into stereotypes--German cars are too "exclusive", domestics only good in a straight line...the new z overheats, unlike your old Honda...etc, etc. Just trying to make money.

The Z wins this easily. First, it is prettier than the Mustang. Second, the Mustang is American and has a solid rear axle, so we here at shadomag know that the 400hp hefty V8 only delivers in the straights. Third, the Z has Synchro Rev Match, and the Mustang lets you change the color of the dials -- nuff said.

In real world applications, I drove on the Tail of the Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway, two of the most challenging roads in the southeast, behind both a Mustang and a Z. The Z stayed ahead of the Mustang the whole way.

In summary, the Z is the greatest car you can ever buy.

I would buy this magazine if it had pictures of you posing with the cars.

I followed the threads when the 2011 GT came out and all these guys had to run out and trade in their Zs so they could feel like the coolest kid on the block.

Red Zed seems alright, but most of them "help" with a condescending overtone regarding the mustang over the Z.
