Anyone want my car?
 

I have a sport / touring PG with persimmon interior on order that should arrive next month. It is fully loaded with all options except the lighted door sills. Some things have changed in my life and I am going to go to my dealer and talk about canceling my order. Is there anyone that would like to take my place? This is a rare color combination so I figured I would offer it to the board first and see if anyone wanted it. My negotiated price is $800 over invoice.

Maybe it's just me, but i don't think you mentioned what the exterior color is. Also, is it Auto or Manual transmission?

PG = Platinum Graphite
Transmission looks like a 6 speed manual.

PG + Persimmon = SWEET combination. Touring+ Sport = best of both world. One of the best configured 370Z. You won't have trouble getting rid of it (Even though I'm sorry that you have to). Good luck with the sale.

I am going in to talk to the dealer today and see what my options are. They already told me they had calls from two other dealers wanting the car I ordered so I am hoping they can give it up to one of them and I will be able to get my deposit back. I still may end of keeping it but it would probably not be the smart responsible thing to do.

I sent you an e-mail yesterday, did you get it? I have a Z on order with the same specs as your car and was thinking that my dealer might be able to take over the car you ordered. But it might already be too late as you mentioned that 2 other dealers are already interested...

I doubt they can keep your deposit, regardless. They might say they can, but in every case I've heard of if you push for the deposit back, they have to return it.

Hey Reno, your Z is just about my choice and I haven't bought yet. I'm still 2 months away from being ready to pull off the deal. I'll be surprised if it doesn't get snatched up as soon as it arrives at the dealer.
