Got my first Z this year in April. Im 28. I work in an Oil refinery Plant. Before that I was in the Army for about 6 years. Been looking what to do ever since I got back. Tried to get into Police I pass their tests but didnt pass the interviews for some reason. I know now that they wont except truthful people. Tried getting into Wyotech. Teachers were good the administration and office people screwed up my paper work. Left them and got into the Oil Industry.

Too bad we won't be able to say the same think when we're 53. The cars will probably be fueled by cooking oil and Li batteries, and top out at 90mph......downhill, with a tailwind.

Thats kick *** dude Im Army currently deployed as well take care and be safe man your Z is waiting for you :)

Say what? LOL. I wonder if I get a discount when I turn 65? Nah, seriously man, the discount normally happens at age 25.

Well they told me it was only 5 bucks higher from my scion tc when i called before buying the car and then now i renewed and they raised that sh*t so i was a little upset.

Thanks for all the awesome responses Allstate sounds like the winner. I have a 5th gen prelude,my Z, 2008 r1, and renters insurance on a house. My rate was $360 a month the bike was $150 and the house was $14 a month the
cars were $196. Thats me and my 22 year old wife (this isnt going to turn into:worthless: pics for my wife thread i saw that happen in a forsale thread hilarious!) anyways so my insurance renewed and they raised $419 and my bike and car went up... (i made a claim for 6k on the bike last year) but that shouldnt raise my car premium and i renewed my policy after the crash and it only went up 9 bucks a month now it went up $50 i dont understand insurance they rape you!

Bought mine this year at the age of 30, felt good to not have to finance it. Now that I got my toy, it's time to hoard my money for a house.

I've had my 2011 370Z for 4 weeks, I'm 66, 0 tickets & 0 accidents, semi retired. Full coverage was $750 a year. Pays to be an old guy with a young spirit. It helps to insure everything through the same insurance co. I have 2 cars, 1 hot rod, 1 motorcycle & home all insured thru Commerce Ins.

Since this thread has turned into a "what I pay for insurance" chat, we need to all keep in mind that location and overall policy have a lot to do with what we pay.

My insurance in Houston is 75% of what it was in New Orleans. All of my insurance is through State Farm - homeowners and the insurance on my new Z, my wife's MDX and my son's Tacoma. That policy includes a $1,000,000 umbrella. The umbrella brings it's own set of minimum coverages. All of that jacks up my rates.

There's a lot to be said for sticking with an insurer if you can. I've been with State Farm since 1978. I'm sure Progressive or Geico could low-ball them for awhile, but I have NEVER had a problem with a claim, including one associated with hurricane Katrina. In the aftermath of the storm, a lot of folks found out how really good there underwriters were; it was a rude awakening for many.

As is always the case, in the long run, you tend to get what you pay for. Choose wisely and remember to always know exactly what you are paying for.

My very first car was a 350z and I got it when I was 22. I got my 370 when I was 26 and I'm in the military. I have one accident and one speeding ticket and I pay 234 a month with usaa. Geico wanted 900 dollars a month.
