Years ago when I purchased my Z32, I went on a cruise (at age 15) with a group of Ga Z Car Club guys. Most of which were doctors, businessmen, etc (35+ yrs olds). Since I was 15, mom had to tag along due to driving laws. At one point in the cruise we stopped for a break and I got out of the car to snap pictures of the caravan. A group of the drivers in the group approached my mom asking, "So you are letting junior drive your car for the weekend?".

My mom smuggly replied..."no, this is junior's car".

After that not a SINGLE one of the Ga Z Car members would talk to me until they figured out I knew what I was doing and was not some punk kid.

Just because a younger driver has a Z, does not mean that they will not take care of and respect the car as much as an older individual. Regardless of how they came to afford the car.

My parents were nice enough to agree to match whatever I saved up (100%) to help me purchase my first car. I was lucky to find a rare Z32 for a decent price.

thanks for the support on that one and my parents did not even match the price for my Z, everything is on me which I wouldnt have any other way and I think its a pretty decent acomplishment at 19 years old to buy your first car at the amount i paid.

Actually the job I have now and make over 80k a year does not require a college degree (I dropped out of college and still don't have one) and honestly I could have easily been doing it right out of high school too as I already had the know how for it. Its definitely possible.

Hell I introduced a friend of mine who now probably makes more money than I do and he started at the company when he was 19 (I was 21-22 when I started 26 now).

You are still a punk. You drive an automatic, lol. puss. Also, we don't care if you take care of it or not. The fact that you don't earn your own money and get things handed to you is not respected by many people. Also I don't respect anyone that has an automatic Z. I make fun of them. You are a douche. : )

This is not cool and sounds very much like a personal attack which violates the forum policies as well as just general good form and decorum.

Please, DO NOT tell people you are a member of this forum, DO NOT drive your Z, sell it.

With your attitude and thinking, you DO NOT deserve a Z, not at all.

A tip of the hat to those in the 60+ group. I love seeing people of all ages enjoying these cars.

I was barely 17 when I bought my 350 and 21 when I bought my 370z. Now I'm 22.
