Very cool car man, and I know you loved the older one, but I'd take this over that old school Porsche any day. It looks great, enjoy it!

Very nice man, enjoy that, and charge hard on the track!

Half of that!

Geez, just look on ebay for used 996 turbos they go from high 30's to ~70k. The 70k usually have crazy work/HP and 5k miles on them. Milage is the key pricing factor, that and whether or not the carfax is clean.

I think that 10 weeks is nothing. You got lucky :) I've heard of people searching for a year or more for a well sorted 911

Color me shocked - I thought they'd be a LOT more.

On the contrary, compared to many, I feel like a car genius...an expensive car doesnt always translate to car knowledge :)

Dude….I never felt dumb. The people in the club are really cool and fun to hang out with.

I passed GT3s, Turbos, Ferraris, an R8 and a ton of BMWs. People from the Porsche club always complimented the 370Z and told me they loved the lines of the car. One lady even called me a Nissan Rock Star when she couldn't keep up in her GT3. I even got a complimentary Porsche Club hat due to some dude in a Turbo not letting me pass.

At PR HPDE people drive how they drive so the passing isn't always due to the car but how aggressive or good the driver is. (Understanding that aggressive and not good driving is not a good combo!)

Hopefully you can tell by this posting that going to the HPDE events is a crazy fun good time with really fun people. That, plus the driving makes for a fantastic day.

The reason for selling was to acquire a stiffer chassis with greater power….now hopefully that R8 will get passed again. The driver has really upped his seat time and is quite respectable now. I passed him when he was just getting started

All good

Ding ding ding. Ive yet to meet a single douche at an HPDE. EVERYONE is really friendly and always able to help if they can/have time.
