Stupid people playing catch

So last night around 1am.. we went to Walmart to pick something up for our new house.. I parked where other cars parked so not far. I came out 30 minutes later and these 2 big guys and 1 girl were throwing football around parked cars including mine! They were laughing while the football hit other cars! And I'm pretty sure it hit mine..wtf what would you do in this situation? Call the cops? Tell them off and get gained up on lol? Stupid.:shakes head:

Oh yeah sorry for all the bad grammar lol:tiphat:

If no damage to your car, then blow out of there. If it had been damaged, go back into the store, tell security and probably call the cops too.

EazyD 08-28-2011 02:43 PM

I learned to just stop going to Wal-mart.

christian370z 08-28-2011 02:44 PM

That's happened to me, albeit with a Frisbee. I almost blew my lid when I first saw it, thankfully it didn't hit my car but it hit others and came damn close. I told them to be more considerate of other people's property and to pay attention, especially because there was a wide open field right next to the parking lot.

They don't care though so don't think you will leave a last impression on them if you confront them.

I would have said "throw me a pass" and hopped in the car a drove off.

First thing I would have did was inspect for damage before I even left. After that I would have to fight my self between calling police instantly on the spot, or just go ape ****.

11Thumper 08-28-2011 03:34 PM

Not much you can do about it. If you have damage on the vehicle it's your word against theirs unless you have it on camera through the store. Even at that point the store may not want to get involved. Cops won't do much if anything at all.

Reason: 576 why I've not been to a Walmart in over 5yrs.

Strangler 08-28-2011 04:40 PM

Don't blame it on Walmart, it can happen anywhere

I don't know about that. I don't think Target has a website dedicated to the folks that shop there. 729 pages of pictures! LOL! :bowrofl:

Funny Pictures at WalMart Photos

I had a similar situation in the parking lot behind my business. It's actually a city parking lot, but my employees and tenants park there as well. next to it is a 'group home for troubled youth'. You think regular kids are bad, try these on for size.

After one of my tenants came in and told me they were playing football in the lot (and intentionally 'skipping' the football off of car roofs), I called the director of the center. He said he'd look into it. Next day, same thing, but now they're playing baseball in the lot, too. Called him again and told him that next time, the call went to the Police instead of him. Next day, same thing, so I called the Police. I had to call the Police every day for almost two weeks before the Counselors finally got it through their thick head that the kids shouldn't be using the lot as a playground. They all drive beaters so it wasn't any big deal to them - they saw absolutely nothing wrong with it. The Police finally got it through to them that THEY would be going to jail - no the kids - if they continued to let them play in the lot. Stopped after that.

I would've intercepted a pass and then punctured the ball with my everyday carry pocket folder and let the air hiss out.

Oh... this is my everyday carry...
http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/csstoreonline_2173_26482580
10 1/2 inches overall...

Then I would have turned to them and asked "Any other questions?"

But that's just me ;)

Correction, just don't go to Walmart with the z. I still go there, but just with my beater. Walmart prices are just too cheap esp for non perisheable items.

FromG2Z 08-29-2011 03:23 PM

Oh i forgot to say, wait for the biggest of the 2 dudes to catch the pass then deliver a ray Lewis type decleater on him.

My wife had her taser! Maybe that would help? LOL

If I have to go I take my truck or the old lady SUV.

sonic370 08-29-2011 08:59 PM

Nothing will help. It's just the Z. I have parked as far away from the front door of any big Box store. And without fail when i come back someone or something,i.e. shopping cart will be near your ride. Today went to Wal-Mart
stupid idea and when i came out parked next to me is some ragged axx
truck................

Vaughanabe13 08-29-2011 09:21 PM

If I ever need to go to walmart with the Z, I actually park in the Kohls parking lot down the street (at the end of the lot, which is always empty and has no traffic) and walk a couple blocks to the walmart. Most people think I'm crazy for doing this but honestly, I've seen some pretty horrific stuff in walmart parking lots.

happytheman 08-29-2011 11:06 PM

There are a number of places that I just simply refuse to drive my Z to. Call me silly, but I just want to keep it looking as nice as possible...and just prefer not to take it where I know there's gonna be a bunch of douchebags.

so where do you buy your motor oil?

man, i think walmart sells them the cheapest. but i never drive my Z to walmart to buy motor oil. I only drive my DD.

toxik 08-30-2011 04:48 PM

if i ever get to such a point where I call the cops, simply because I saw people playing catch around my car.... shoot me in the face

LOL.

this reminds me of a guy I know back in the dotcom days. He bought a brand new Ferrari. one day he was at work, his wife drove his Ferrari to Burger King and when she finished eating, she threw the burger wrapper under the seat.

On another occasion, she drove the car to the Ferrari dealer for regular maintenance with the family dog in the passenger seat. As she pulled up, all the service managers looked at her like some crazy person.

The point i'm saying is who in the world would drive a Ferrari to a burger joint.

Of course it could happen anywhere but being in a walmart parking lot increases that chance by about a thousand. Just like you could get run over by a car almost anywhere you walk versus running out in the middle of Texas motor speedway wearing a gay pride shirt waving an I voted for Obama flag and being of any ethnic descent. There's a pretty high chance someone will be aiming for you and that chance of getting hit is still lower than parking at walmart.
