I wonder why on the nismo site there is a huge difference in the price...
If thats the only difference =(

Hmm, how much are they listing it for? I think I picked up mine for $158 plus shipping.

If you can, try to support our vendors (or you can buy mine). I'm thinking about going back to OEM for awhile.

I don't have any quick pics of mine, but I'll post two that I've borrowed from Fromg2z:

The Nismo Shop : West Covina Nissan : Nismo Titanium Shift Knob

generally $152 + shipping, I'll do it for $125 + shipping, and it's in PERFECT condition.

I have a TWM Type R in silver. It's very nicely weighted and looks great but gets hot as a branding iron. It hasn't helped that we have had 50 some odd days over 100 F degrees (yesterday was 107 F). I think I have the shift pattern branded in the palm of my hand. I tried covering it up with a different types of cloth, but nothing seemed to make much difference. I finally discovered that if I parked facing south my sun shield kept the sun from shining directly on the metal all day. That did make some difference and it seemed to cool down faster.

i got a better question. why does nobody beside nismo and jdm pw make a decent shift knob for this thing. Come on companies! we want options... in delrin preferably

I think TWM just introduced a new one that has a metal core and a Delrin exterior.

They did...it's the Hybrid. But I'm not a fan of round knobs and I want a heavier one. Which is why I opted for the Desert Eagle (600 grams) as opposed to the Hybrid (400 grams).
