has anyone done a squared setup?

I am trying to buy rims within a month, and I've received a few recommendations to go for squared setup for both track usage and tire life.
If I go for a squared setup, I may need to put 20mm spacer on rear, and that's my concern. I've seen a few members here complaining about their spacers both H&R and ichiba.
So, you guys recommend squared setup+spacers on rear?
or staggered setup and spend more $$$ on tires?
Thanks!

There's a few guys here that have done a square setup particularly for track usage. There's no problem with that. And I wouldn't be scared of a good quality spacer.

I'm square with rear spacers. I think the people who have had problems with spacers have been people using stock rims, which don't use lugcentric lugnuts.
