Car Towed!!!

So yeah my car got towed because it was parked on a fire lane -.-;;
However that is not the problem.
The way they towed my car is the problem.
They lift up my rear wheels and towed it.
Now I heard a loud scraping noise when they were exiting the parking lot.
And who knows how many more scrapes they have done while driving.
I took pictures of the front bumper before they towed it.
I am planning on picking up the car on up coming Monday.
I am also planning on calling the police.

Anyone know how i should handle this?
Like do i just call 911?

There is nothing you can do about it until Monday, Probably. Try to stay calm.

Now, let the games begin.

Dammmmmnnn bro that is not good news!!!!!

There should be a non emergency number that you can call for these type of issues. Log on to your city website and it should be there.

Police non-emergency number to file a report.

File a complaint with the towing company, and contact your insurance provider as well.

Your insurance provider will be your biggest advocate though, since they don't want to pay for it.

Normally a tow company will report a towed car to the police.

+1

I heard of this happening to someone as well and their car was really damaged by the towing company.

:iagree:

When you go to report it stolen, they will just tell you it's been towed, and to work with them to resolve the issue.

Just because you were parked illegally and there was most likely a sign stating your car will be towed. It is not okay for the tow company to damage your car.. that driver knew damn well you needed a flat bed, and care getting on it, he thought he was a tough guy and most likely said , F this car, and knew very well he was damaging your car... he is making 10-12 an hour and doesn't give a rats *** about your car..

def find out the company , call them, and talk to the owner or highest person up you can and let them know what happened.. they do not want law suits and bad rep so I'm sure he wont be happy with what happened..

Also call the police or non emergency line to file a complaint or report, and call your insurance and let them know your car was towed and towed wrong and they will stand behind you. They will cover if need be , but they will go after the tow company or their insurance for the money...

sucks dude.. and this comes days after the vette owner guy came on here and many other forums stating about the importance of towing the car the right way..
