I was in a gas station by my house where I usually fill up once and noticed a sweet Ferrari 360 Stradale getting some fuel. Naturally I wondered over to the car and noticed the front was pitted all to hell. I mentioned it to the driver who shrugged it off and said "That's what it's for. I bought this car to drive it and track it."

Ever since then (and after 3 track sessions myself) my z is starting to resemble that Ferrari and you know... I'm perfectly fine with that.

anyway i would look out of place if i owned one. each time i take one out it will look like some wannabie korean guy in a birthday rental. :D ... or better yet, maybe people will think 'ahh, asian restaurant owner, follow him to his wok n wok or tempura place, it must be good!' i would then have a caravan of buick regals and ford fusion rednecks following me. wtf...

just be happy you have a Z and a healthy body to go with it. you dont need huge bucks to be happy. :)

Hhahaha!! That's some funny right there! I love it when Asians can make fun of themselves! My wife's Chinese and we play around with stupid commentary like that from time to time! It's sooooo wrong..and that's what makes it all the more funny because we realize how NOT pc we're being! Thumbs up for being one cool dude!

Over the years I've lusted after many cars and I've had the good fortune to own some of them, but when it's all said and done if your life sucked before you got your dream car it will probably suck after you get your dream car.

Just my opinion, as stunning as a super car is, in 6 years it's still yesterday's technology. Most of the folks on this forum are "hands-on, stock-sucks, gotta-personalize-it" types and if that's you, well the Z is a better canvas to paint your dreams on than some quasi-museum-piece Lambo or Ferrari.

Having said that, there was a Ferrari 599 next to me at a light a couple of days ago-sweet.....and did I mention the silver-with-yellow-calipers Porsche Turbo S I parked next to last week......or the sound of an Aston Martin V12 at high revs....sorry, I need to focus.

Its like that with Djibouti as well. Unlike Bahrain though, Djibouti has nothing.

FromG2Z - I understand what you are saying. I park away from everybody, under the eastern side of a tree at work in case a thunderstorm with hail comes thru in the afternoon, and everything else.
But I agree more with the Ferrari guy Killer Bee was talking to. My Z is my daily drive, and I love to drive her :driving:
To me, valuables locked away in a safe and never shown are not appreciated and are worthless.
