can you really make it better

ya I have a feeling this threat is gonna stir a few antagonists ...fimply for the fact they have probably heard this a million times ..but rather than coming from a nieve and biassed perspective...I am purely trying to get as much info as possible before my dessicion to buy a 35 to 41 k vehichle.......and i simply want to know as much about the differences between the two....Like "can you really make it better " meaning the 370z stock modified to outpreform the nismo for roughly the same cost? which should be around ten grand......

I guess what i want to know is what could i do with ten grand in after market suspension and engine mods to make it even better than the nismo? or is it even possible

Short answer, Yes.

I'd buy Hooked on Phonics first.

I wouldn't get one personally because of the price difference and what you get for it. For that money you will be able to put on better parts IMO and I'm also not a big fan of the body kit.

$10,000 aftermarket will give you more performance than a stock Nismo. What you get with a Nismo is different wheels (aftermarket approximately would be around $3,000), warranty, not being without a car while aftermarket parts are being installed, and body kit.

Everyone had different preferences and neither decision is wrong/bad.

Seriously? Another nismo or not nismo thread?:shakes head:

I should have known better, but got fooled into clicking the title of the thread...lol.

10k???? Let's see. For 10k I could buy a gtm SC kit or get close to a tt kit. If sc kit, I'd have leftovers to buy suspension mode. I think that answers the question pretty easily.

First. We all look past spelling error's without making a big deal but... jesus. Firefox has a spell check built in... I'd suggest using that for your forum posts.

Second... To answer your question, YES.

Third: Just curous, what do you do for work.

Fire 08-13-2011 09:31 AM

I have about $5000 in mods and haven't touched the engine. I think that I can out handle a Nismo and they don't make a vert sooo.:driving::postwhore:

Apparently, the much-praised Firefox lacks grammar check.
