New to this forum, have a question to ask :)

Hi guys:
Im a big 370z fan and planning to get one in near future, just wondering if the RevMatch tech is really worth the money( sports package), what does it do specifically? does it make a difference without the sports package(perform-wise?)

Plenty of info if you do a search, but for the most part the sports package is well worth the price. The SyncroRev is just an added bonus.

Thanx :) but i will be changing to amuse body kit and change the wheel+rim as well, so basically the only thing left out from the sports package is SychronRev, i dunno if this gunna affect the car's performance or affect the lifetime of the gearbox in a long term?

can't speak for the rev-match. but imo the 3 grand for the sports package is
money worth spent.

Your also won't have the larger brakes and VLSD.Those two alone will cost you over $3000 if you purchase afterwards. It also comes with the rear and chin spoiler, but like you said, you won't need it. You can always sell the sports package wheels. They are usually in high demand and can fetch around $1200-1600 on here. The SyncroRev will likely put less strain on the drivetrain since just about all your shifts will be at optimal rpm. You can always turn it off.

and the mph is the big numbers where as canada i think you get the km as big numbers, no?

wat cmike said about sportspackage. definitely worth the $. wheels, bbk, VLSD, SRM. all

Red__Zed 08-05-2011 10:34 PM

I love how no one even read his post.

OP--with your planned changes, the things you will get that matter are SR, the VLSD, and the Akebonos.

You can replace the akebono's for about $1400, though I might imagine you'd step up brakes as well given your plans.
The VLSD is garbage if you drive hard, and not necessary if you don't.
The SR is a cool feature if it is something you like, but I wouldn't use it.

Test drive a Z with SR, see if it is something you would find worth it.

The CDM cars are faster, aren't they? They go 0 to 100 in the same time the US cars go 0 to 62.
