I forgot how nice it was...

My last "cool" car was a VW Corrado I owned back in 1992. VW followers are a pretty chatty bunch normally, but I really got a lot of waves/hello's when I had the Corrado. But that was almost 20 years ago.

I haven't had the Z out for much more than commuting in the last few weeks, been far too busy, and the weather was just lousy to put the top down, so she sat in the garage a bit too much.

Took her out during lunch to run errands, got into a coversation at both the bank and the gas station. Met a couple of nice people who are car-nuts like we are. I get the "nice car" pretty often, but I forgot how nice it was to be standing around at a gas pump and talking about performance cars with someone else. I've met the owners of some pretty nice stuff over the years, including a couple of Supra's.

Just had to post this up after a damn good day in the Z.

yea, the 370z is def a conversation piece...

My old S2000 back when it first came out was the same way... it makes you feel good about your purchase, which is a good thing...

I get countless thumbs up and looks and compliments in the Z... Its something all Z owners must get used to...

The Corrado was a cool evolution of the Sirocco (I had two of those back in the day...a 1978 and a 1982). Nice!

I still get stares from passers-by when we play volleyball early Sunday morning on Coronado Beach. It's still amazes me how many looks you get with this car.

Likewise... amen to all the above. All this for a car that costs less than a loaded Minivan.

Great job Nissan.

I want to drive my Z to Coronado and play golf.

Greens fees: $35
Gas from PA: $492
Memories: Horrible! Have you seen me play golf?!? :icon17:

I'll stick with the ferry from the convention center.:ugh2:
