Be more patient and keep looking, i wouldnt put a second thought on it if i am as worried as you are, there are so many possibilities when it comes to thing that might go wrong.

UPDATE:

I found a local Z and jumped for it! Same options same color but with the persimmon seats! Hooray

Had to pay a little more than the private sale but no accidents or anything to worry about. Maybe I can throw some pics up soon if I figure out how to do that.

Congrats. Enjoy it!

Ok good that worked!

So I love it and it really does look more amazing every time I look at it. I have been waiting to buy "my car" for about the past 10 years since I was 13. 04 Mustang Cobra, BMW, G37s, Challenger RT all had their phases. I still love both the Cobra and the Chally but I know I made the right choice. I love it. Now I have to master this whole stick thing and then it is time to really enjoy it....Hopefully that is soon

Congrats dood! looks great.

if i may help out on the manual tranny issue.. I've owned lots of sticks and this thing was the hardest ever to drive.. until last week when i came upon the thread about the clutch helper spring. do a quick search and either remove it or buy one of the much lighter spring tension springs one of the forum members is offering, and its a night and day difference in how the clutch feels and the actual drive-ability. took me 10 minutes to take it out. its common. just a helpful suggestion since you mentioned something about learning to drive it better.

enjoy the ride!

I wish I could fast forward a little bit to when I know and am confident in driving stick!

You'll get there. I still botch it up and I've been driving stick for 27 years. I killed both my 350 and 370 on test drives. I felt like I had to explain to the salesman why I killed it. :icon17:
