you will be one of many who writes about how to convert your car into a sports pkg later

if you truly track your car, you will want the bigger brakes too. also better aero on the sports and the car is pretty ugly without the spoiler imo

Brakes are the only thing id want the sport package for, and they're only $1400.

The rims are going to be replaced anyways if you're tracking, since you can run 9.5/10.5 and stay in class. They sell for $1000 or so to the 300zx guys, pretty close to the $1200 the sp rims go for.

Spoilers are personal taste. I don't like the stock ones. The front one (only one with an aero function) goes for $50 all the time on cragslist.

The Vlsd is garbage. Synchrorev is awesome if you are into that sort of thing, but I think it encourages bad habits.

Tbh, I'd rather run an open diff than a viscous, since the heat issues you run into just aren't worth it. You can get a torsen diff for like $900 if you go with the base, vs 1100ish to add with the vlsd.

Ahhh... open diff - now I get it. LSD = limited slip differential.

I thought Nissan was offering a Timothy Leary Limited Edition!

What heat issues are you talking about?

Viscous diffs don't hold up well to hard driving. They are prone to overheating if you run them, and it's not uncommon to see trashed diffs as a result of "abuse."

Would it be possible for you to link me to the sites that sell the aftermarket diffs. I'm having trouble finding any.

THMotorsports is selling them for $929 shipped right now. The 350z diff is the same!
