Question Z(Modded) vs Mazda6speed(modded)
 

Quick question
How would a 370Z do against a Mazda6Speed?
370z with full bolts vs Mazda6speed with mods idk which ones but it was loud.
I "met" one at the track and...

and........

depends on the mods the mazda has.. and if its from a roll or not. I got beat by one last night.. well until I got into 2nd and I got a little traction :driving:

Ya and what? Loud does not mean fast if that was the case then every civic with a foldgers can exhaust is the ultimate speed car. You would really need to go further in detail for both cars.

Since this is track talk, it probably belongs in that section of the forum.

MS6's have AWD, but they're huge bulky cars. Stock for Stock, the Z should win, but when you start talking mods, it all depends on what was spent.

Turbo cars are cheaper and easier to upgrade power-wise.

Plus, are we talking drag strip or curvy circuit? Makes a difference.

A modded MS6 with full bolt on's could get "close" to a stock 370Z. 270 hp with a curb weight of close to 3600 lbs and the MS6 doesn't have the numbers going for it. I've seen a few MS6's with bolt-on's run in the mid-low 13's, even high 12's (stock is closer to 14's). It really depends on what they have installed, but I would venture to guess the Z would win if both cars had close to the same type of mods.

Owned ms6 prior to the z, and at this point in the game speeds are going to be ones to look out for. they are starting to make big power , and a buddy of mine just went 12.2 @ 114 in his speed6 with a gt3071
I raced a 09 370 in my speed which was good for probably 12.8 ish and burried him from a roll...needless to say I now own a z :)
There is also a Russian guy in the Ukraine who went 11.2 gives you an idea of where they are headed .

AWP + hatch? = sniping in CS? if u find a good hatch to hide in...LOL I kid...
