Nissan 370Z with "cold weather package"?

Will Nissan EVER offer a cold weather package for the 370Z ? Tonight was a very cold night (29 degrees out) here in Jersey. As I was driving my Z, I had to pull my hands inside my jacket and hold the steering wheel with my jacket sleeve because the steering wheel was waaaaaaay too cold. Thank god I don't have leather seat or else I would've been freezing my a$$. My dad has an Infiniti which came with "cold weather package" and it's an awesome feature for those lives in cold weather.

Yeah, I've been there. I always drive with lined leather gloves when it gets that cold, so I don't really notice it. I think the Touring package comes with heated leather seats, so that's a good thing. I wouldn't add a cold weather package to my Z, just because cloth (my chosen spec would be the base model) isn't too bad in the winter. But I'm crazy like that. ;)

I normally remote start my cars so they are warmed up before I get in, especially in the winter. I will definitely have remote start installed on the Z when I install a new alarm, unless there are ignition compatibility issues.

NO, you can actually put it in manual cars. You MUST keep the car in neutral. They also have to do something with the clutch pedal sensor but a good shop will install it for you.

Yeah DEI (Clifford, Viper) almost went out of business years ago from what I heard because they weren't adding a kill switch or something for installation with manual cars. I guess people were starting their cars, and the car would just drive off in gear.
Is it bad that I would love to see some video of that.:driving:

:shakes head: Lucky bastard!:icon17:

It's freezing right now in NJ. I swear, putting hands on a frozen steering wheel is NOT something I look forward to everyday :shakes head:

I hear ya.... I was on the phone with my younger brother yesterday (He still lives in the Poconos Northeast PA), and he was in a blizzard, while I was on the phone with him wearing shorts!!

But we pay for it in the summer when we see 115+
