Who was asking if $150 or so a month for a garage was worth it, again? :)

2theextreme 04-27-2009 05:33 PM

From how bad the pollen is I had a feeling you were near me.....my blue one looked the same yesterday and already is starting to look covered again!

As soon as all that rain hit, and the nice warmth moved in, EVERYTHING budded yesterday. Its horrible!

Anatoray 04-27-2009 05:35 PM

Damn, and I thought I had it bad lol. Mine doesn't get covered nearly as much, but it's still noticable at a fair distance. Most of it comes off while I drive though.

bulaman 04-27-2009 06:45 PM

F YOU EARTH!!!

It would probably mess up the duster but I am getting one of these:

California Car Dusters - California Water Blades - Mini Duster - CaliforniaCarDusters.com

m4a1mustang 04-27-2009 06:53 PM

Tell me about it man. I'm just down the road from you in Fairfax and mine looks like isht. :(

Oh... and I was asking about the $150!

Thankfully in a couple weeks I'll have one.

eXo5 04-27-2009 07:49 PM

Holy hell! Thats why my alleregies are going nuts! I live 45 min from philly and about an hour from Baltimore so were pretty close. That sucks man.

frost 04-27-2009 07:59 PM

rofl, I'm glad I opened this, because I completely underestimated the amount of pollen that would be on your car. desert landscape ftw.

MC 04-27-2009 09:20 PM

i hear ya man ive had to spray my car off every night. black this time of year is a pain. i use some of that wax as you dry spray every time i rinse the pollen off and it makes it real easy to spray off the next few days

xDIEGOx 04-27-2009 11:00 PM

^ Do you regret sometimes getting another black car?

I feel for ya, we went through this down here 6 weeks ago. Now it is just the oak pollen that is left, big and clumpy. Not to bad on the car, bad for my allergies though :icon14:

Nice man! Mine looks the same. I live in Northern VA... so very close! FU Pollen! :gtfo2:

Forumite 04-28-2009 09:39 AM

Yeah pollen has been a pita for me here in VA also but mine is chicane yellow so it doesnt show up as much.

Went out and picked up another Cali Duster, works wonders.

Right outside my house.

Pollen is crazy bad right now in VA but they are calling for rain for about 5 days so that will knock it down some.

My AC went out this weekend so I had to open the windows, have a black computer desk in the spare bedroom and it was yellow this morning.

It's raining right now in NOVA (Not sure what part of VA you're in), but not enough to do anything. Luckily I garage my car, but any time I take it out it's done. The california duster can't scratch the clear can it?

This is what I was wondering also.

Mental Block 04-29-2009 09:04 AM

I use a duster really often on my 350Z and it doesn't scratch it. All you gotta do is lightly glide the duster across your car. Also make sure when you first get it to wrap it in some newspapers and let it sit there overnight so it gets rid of the excess wax they put on it from factory and you're good to go.

eXo5 04-29-2009 09:33 AM

Well its raining now so it shouldnt be a problem for a few days.

I've used it on every car I've owned and never had it scratch the paint. In fact I still use my original one that I got for my 16th B-Day 9 years ago.

KillerBee370 04-29-2009 10:27 AM

If you had gotten yellow, it wouldn't be such a big deal... teehee

rreign 04-29-2009 10:31 AM

Trust me I know how this is, I live in SC and own a steel gray car. (Not a Z) But it still blows.
