Slade, that sucks, man. Glad the tire's holding up. I never get why people go out of their way to mess with other folks' property. Things like this, slashing tires, keying cars, dinging a door without leaving a note... I don't care if the victim car is a Bugatti or a Suzuki, you just don't mess with ppl's cars.

It's really pathetic when people just can't respect another persons car. There are many cars that I can't afford and no way in hell would I disrespect the person who can afford one.
A few months ago I was fortunate enough to meet owner of a Lamborghini Gallardo. He was kind enough to grant me access to his car. Upon inspection I noticed several dents in the drivers door. I asked him about it and he said that a group of teens were seen near his car with a screwdriver in ones hand. The kids seemed compelled to cause damage. Unfortunately he wasn't around to confront them. |
I drive the beater when I go to the club.
I don't need my ride to be impressive, nor do I need to worry about it when I'm trying to have a good time. Not to mention the fact that my 10 year old Ranger doesn't attract any attention from the cops, which is a good thing when you're driving home after having a couple of adult beverages. |

If possible try to park down the street away from the crowd whenever you go out to bars/clubs or take a taxi. It's unfortunate but haters are a dime a dozen nowadays |

this thread reminds me... i had to drive over some remains of smashed bottles of glass yesterday that was a scattered across 2 lanes. better check my tires as well.
would be a perfect excuse to try some new pilot supersports... :p ;) |
Same crap happened to me a few months ago. I was pulling out of a parking spot and heard a loud pop. Turned out some a$$ put a snapple bottle in front of my LF tire. Didn't penetrate the tire, I just took a rag and brushed off what was left sticking to the tires. Come to think of it, I don't ever recall having glass penetrate any tires of any vehicle that I've owned. Nails...well that's a different story.
I really don't get ppl sometimes.:shakes head: |
