Nailed one bird.
Nailed 2 skunk at once in the middle of the road after a corner. Left no smell or damage. I got lucky. All I heard was some thumps.

I hit my neighbor's dog with a corvette... He didn't exactly walk away from that one...

Today, I reenacted kenchan's bird hitting the mirror story, without gore, though. It flew across in front of me, realized it was about to hit a car comin the other way, did a 180 and got clipped by the plastic mirror cover right next to my sister in the passnger seat

Every animal you fellows have missed, I think I hit. I have hit too many to list. A raccoon that got stuck in the wheel well of my 280Z for a couple hundred yards, Thump thump thump..... I can still hear it. A seagull that came through the windshield of a rental Mustang, oh wait you said sports car, sorry. A deer that tried to jump over my 300ZX to avoid being hit almost made it. I caught his front hoofs with the left side frame of the wind screen flipped him and landed hoofs onto the top of the right side spoiler. 3 inches higher and he'd a made it, poor thing.

This one buffed out for cheap.

While driving “spirited” a few birds few in front of my car…. Didn’t think too much of it until the next week when I was washing my car and found a dead bird stuck to my radiator. If you look closely in the pic, you’ll see the little guy. I tried to pull him back through the grill and he fell apart. So I had to drop the front plastic to get the parts out.

Nah I live in southern california. The only animals around here are the ones with shaved heads and baggy pants killing eachother in the streets. I would hate to hit something like that and have to scrape that sh!t off my car.

Hit something this morning. Not sure what it was. It was dark. Its amazing how much a small animal can upset your car. But I was going about 60 though.

Not with my Z but it happened on 2 occasions, both with rental cars.

1. i was driving like 70mph on the freeway, this big black bird flew across the freeway then bam, it hit the passenger door right on the glass. Glass didnt break but i could see the bird laying on the freeway from my rearview mirror.

2. I was driving like 25 mph on public street then i saw a pigeon walking on the street. I steered towards the pigeon and was sure that it would fly away. it turned its head, saw my car, flapped its wings but it was too late. it was laying flat on the street from my rearview mirror. My wife was in the passenger seat and i got an hour long lecture from her afterwards.

This is a bonus:

3. I was driving like 85mph on the highway in a remote area. Then a bigazz tumbleweed ran across the two-lane highway. I dodged it...barely. but the car behind me wasn't so lucky. he couldn't dodge it and hit it head-on. The tumbleweed got stuck in front of his car. He pulled his car over to the side of the freeway and i could see smokes coming out from his radiator. I know he must be swearing at me.

hit a coyote on i-80 at 75mph in the rsx. not really a sports car. just a sports compact. cost me about 650 dollars repair. but i will tell you, definitely an experience id rather not repeat.

I saw this thread and then on my way to eat lunch I was forced to run over the remains of something that was once living.

Now I have guts all over the side of my car and in my wheels. Ugh.
