I got a 2011 w/ sport pkg for $32K about four months ago and would be surprised to see an appraisal for it higher than $30K with the 5K miles it already has on it. Don't new cars lose like 10% of their value as soon as you drive them off the lot? The dealership offered me 2011 touring/sport/nav for just over $35K, so a 2009 with 30K miles should definitely be at $30K or less IMO. Best of luck man.

Just talked with the adjustor. He said that it is, in fact, totaled. They valuated it at $29,730. They were pretty transparent in showing the valuation process. Apparently I can view the 6 "comparable" Zs that they used to arrive at the payout amount on the Geico website, so I'm about to go check that out to make sure that the Zs are actually "comparable". Oh, and they said that they would pay out the sales tax as well, so the total comes to around $31.5k. Now I just need to find another Z!
I also took the rear hatch cover out of the car, so I will be putting that up soon in the classifieds section, in case anyone is interested... |
Totaled. I got rear ended in my G and it is was 8300 in damage and my 370z was totaled back in October
edit: Just saw u offically said its totaled. Good thing your okay and now its time for a new Z |

Hey man, I'm sorry for your loss. I'm glad the result of the insurance is to your liking. I would recommend getting an all wheel drive GTR considering this accident might have been prevented with a little more HP and awd. |
^haha
