I still tend to see most higher powered sports cars in their coupe version being driven by men. But increasingly, I see more women driving 2-seat roadsters (Audi TT, BMW Z4, Mercedes SLK, etc.), some of which happen to be higher horsepower cars (Audi TTS, BMW Z4 3.5, Mercedes SLK AMG, 370Z Roadster). And lighter colors including white do seem to be a preferred color choice for women. Frankly, I think it's cool that women want more performance in their cars.

Seen a handful of female-driven Ferraris in the past around this area, including one in an F40 in Dulles a couple years ago.

I have a 40th, theres a 40+ year old blonde with a 40th anniversary, and also an older man 65+ with a 40th in Fort Myers here. Also, the two PW auto touring models around here are female doctors. Oh ya, can't for get about this hot 25yr old blonde chick in a black roadster here...... So many women have this car. However, there's me, ScGRacer(PW Nismo), NewYorkJon34(PW), SeeYaBud(PW), and two blue 370's driven by 25-30 year guys in my town here. So it would appear to be roughly 50/50 around here.

Where I live in my experience it's far from a chick car. I've noticed my car gets the most looks from kids and younger guys. I've also seen very few girls driving these cars!

If you really are that worried about it being a chick car then just add a pair of testies to it. Seriously though, don't worry about what others say, just test drive it and then judge.

Around my area, it always existed a notion that affordable cars with curvy, nice body lines, were girl cars. i.e. 90s Mitsu Eclipse, Toyota Celica, Audi TT, all have what we call sexy curves ;) However, I haven't really heard that about the Z..

Because it has a big a$$. Mine is just covered up by a nice skirt by which what we call the NISMO spoiler and the NISMO aero kit at the bottom of the rear bumper. Covers up that fat a$$.

I see more chicks in the mustang than in the Z and I see less Z's in the road. So get it. Forget about her opinion if thats what you want go ahead and do it. Take a look at the pics in this site and show her that this is a different look for a guy to drive and when you do get it give her a hell of a ride on the open road or even a track. If she still insists that its a chicks car then tell her get one her own chick cars.

370Z is totally a chick car.

Shado, I was at Laguna Seca a few weeks ago, and they had a bunch of local Miata SCCA guys running laps, they were hauling *** and some of them sounded pretty stout. So +1 there
