So I'm close to getting the 370z but had a couple of hang ups and was wondering how other owners were dealing with the issue.

1. Door handles: I know they are unique to the Z but with the way that they open do you have any issues on a day to day basis when you're carrying something like a drink.

I only drink beer, so if I spill some opening the door it's because I'm half in the bag.

2. Door edges: The door edge which is a bit sharp from the trim sticks out a bit from the window edge. Has it ever cause any issues when you accidently scraped yourself?

Scrape yourself on the door and it'll put hair on your balls, make a man outa ya. I know it did for me.

3. Accessing behind the seat: I know that I'm not buy the Z for storage but on the models I've checked out there doesn't seem to be a quick way to access the little nook behind the seat for storage. Is the leaning into the car and across the seat to reach the power seats the only way?

I make some women lean in and get it. I tell them it's a mini kitchen

4. Rear view - How do you find the visibility out the back? I noticed because of the slope it seems quite limited.

I have so many dead hookers in my trunk I can't see anyway.

I say we thread jack and discuss auto vs. manual, VDC on or off, which color of gray to buy, or the benefits of Miata doors :ugh2:

OP, if you really are serious about a Z you won't care one bit about any of those things.

:iagree: Don't forget oil discussions. BTW, what oil is best?

Wow! these are some odd concerns for a car. I hope these are not deal breakers for you. Anyway, you won't have any issues with any of these, except the rear view(and blind sides). The slope of the trunk reduces the view, so you won't be able to see cops behind you unless they're like 5-8 cars back. The C pillar plus the purely cosmetic little back window makes for a fairly big blind spot. Good luck!

Hey full, where is the instruction sticker for dead hookers? I have one for a golfbag but don't know how to properly insert a dead hooker? Or is the dead hooker option only on coupes?

In regards to #1, you'd first have to be the type to allow beverages in your car...we don't take kindly to your kind around here

Any advice on the above would be great. Thanks!

I don't own a Z, but I can tell you that if you drop something behind the seat it is a PAIN IN THE ***! I was at the dealership one morning on my way home from work when my scissors fell out of my scrub-top pocket (yes, I need to secure my gear better, I now do). Well, it took 2 of us and about 5 minutes to get them back.

Other than that, which is very likely ignorance on how to get stuff since I don't own one, I never scraped myself or anything of the sort during my test drives/rides.

The worst thing I have to say about the Z in this regard is when I drove it I did notice some hellacious blind-spots.

get in the car with the "bags" in your hand and put it behind the pass seat..

you want to look in front when driving JK... I have never had any issues with this... there are some blind spots just use good judgement and be careful while driving...
