did you buy your Z because you really wanted a porsche 911?

just saying.... the z has been ripping off porsche since 2003

just look at the the body lines. i swear everytime i see a 350/370z i first think it's a 911

and don't say that porsche borrowed the styling from the z because we all know that's not true.

but tell me something......and be honest.....

how do you guys feel when you pull up next to a porsche 911 at a stop light?

now on a more positive note, the z is a great looking car by ALL means.
for the price of a new Z , you do get a TON of awesome useful features. sweet suspension, 330hp ..... i mean for the price nothing comes close to the z. and i mean nothing. it's a true sports car.

but at the end of the day i would much rather be seen in a 911 then a z.

just my opinion

Another troll.

Nope. I bought a Z because I didn't want anything else. Never even considered a Porsche. I did briefly consider the G, but the Z is zoo much more sexy IMO.

I don't think they look all that similar. If you can't tell a Z from a 911, then you must not know much about cars at all.

If I were to pull up next to a 911 at a stoplight (which hasn't happened yet) I would give the driver a  to complement them on their awesome car.

Of course people would rather be seen in a 911 than a Z. I have no clue why you're even comparing the 2. Your comparing a $30-40k Nissan to a $80-200k Porsche. At least compare it to the GT-R.

Also, IBTL since I know this thread is headed there :icon17:

No, Porsche stole 100% of its ideas from Nissan.

:iagree:

And Nissan stole 100% of their ideas from me, including the times when I wasn't born yet! :stirthepot:

uhmmm... from an angled view... the Z's front looks more like the S2K, homie... and no, I hate porsches... they breakdown a lot, they overheat, and catch on fire for no effin reason (how do I know? someone in my family used to have a 911 Turbo, and for what you pay, it should be hella more reliable)

Jamaica 06-13-2011 07:29 PM

Really?

I used to hate Porsches, but I am starting to like them now. If the price range for my last car purchase was like $10k higher, I would have probably gotten a used Cayman instead of the Z.

My cousin had a Boxster whose engine caught on fire too.

Ripping off Porsche. Buddy, get lost.
