So theres only a few people who've hit 160? (155) that is very surprising to me. I thought it handled fantastically, no buzzing rattles or any kind of instability. Which is more than i can say for the other cars ive done so in.
Edit: Tvfreakazoid this may have been on my private i-71 South. so to answer your question. 160 |
240 km/hr (~150 mph) on an autobahn north of Hamburg in a rented Benz. ~115 on the 101 in my Z.

When I travel to other parts of the country, the 55 or 60 speed limit is painful. It's the most frustrating thing to follow someone doing 50 in a 55 when you're used to crusing at 80. In CA, you can be in a traffic jam at 80+..now that's a trip. Imagine driving through your garage at 80! I can't remember the comedian, but he said, "there's only one correct speed, which is what you are traveling at. Everyone who is slower is an f'ing a$$hole. Everyone who is traveling faster is f'ing crazy!" So true! -ZCarGo- |

Sweet but I would of been a little scared. By the way, was the drive pretty smooth at that speed on a 350?

The 350Z held up decent at those speeds. Better than my tC or civic. Even on the open highway is scary because my only thought was some idiot could have pulled out of no where or something crazy like a deer could have ran across the highway. |
