My wife is the boss.....

Yep!

As maybe some members remember, I am an old forum member with a 07' 350z. I was on my way to get a 370z and the wife chooses that we should get an 2008 Infiniti FX35. More space, convenient for her and a more relax ride. We got a great deal and since it was a Certified Pre-Owned, Infiniti gave us a special rate of 1.9% (NICE) with 8yrs/120K warranty. We just got her with 31K miles. Not bad for an '08. Great great conditions.

It has all packages, except AWD. Sport Package, Technology Package, Hands Free Package and Touring Package. The difference between them? Don't know haha, I was just looking for the Sport Package (20's" wheels, aluminum roof racks and nice tail lights) and Technology Package (GPS).

Anyway the FX is an incredible car for us, at this moment, specially now that our family is growing. Yep, she is the boss. Did a great decision for our precise living moment :)
I didn't trade the Z, which is currently paid off.

Well, now I will have to wait at least, 6 more months to trade the 350.

Some pics and a video a took yesterday.
hope you like it! and Yes, Wives are the Bosses.

The FX is a nice car.

At least you have a 350 to play around with for those 6 months you have to wait before you can trade it in on your 370, so life isn't all that bad. :)

lol, YOUR wife is a baws.

But at least she's got pretty good taste. Congrats on the 1.9% rate and the growing family!!!

07 350 to 370 is not that big of a jump. Save your money

Econ 05-27-2011 09:41 AM

looks good man. hopefully those 6 months go by fast (they wont)

;)

Red__Zed 05-27-2011 09:42 AM

I love the fx. Not a bad deal.

Looks nice. I like the FX's but my wife picks her cars and I pick mine.

My wife has driven an FX since 08. We have really enjoyed it. I believe its the sportiest of the SUVs out there. Good acceleration, sounds cool and rides very smooth. Our ONLY complaint is the back seat is a liittle tight. It would be fine for small children but adults are a little cramped. Ours is a lease but we have thought about buying it since it has been such a great vehicle.

o0javi0o 05-27-2011 11:31 AM

hahaha! It's fine, don't feel sorry about my balls, my wife loves them. Lol!

Yeah, the FX looks and feel sporty. It was a great deal, so we took it. Space for a car seat. I really like the exhaust tone.
Hopefully these 6 months will pass fast. who knows.

Dark Sarcasm, where in Katy you are located? I'm by Cypress.

I always said if I HAD to let go of the Z, the FX might be the next route...or add that to the family of cars, at least I'd have the same VQ sound

cool... glad you didnt sell your 350z for that. :D

texasviking 05-27-2011 12:34 PM

This is funny... mainly because I just bought the wife an 08 FX35 too.. but there's no way in hell it was going to get in the way of my 370 :P Like a Bossss

Nice grab though! That 1.9% (same deal here) feels good :D

PapoZalsa 05-27-2011 01:09 PM

That is a good decision, the SUV for the family and the Z for you to play.

At least you still have the 350Z.
