WHY! are "they" getting rid of their 370Z?!

Hello, I posted the above question around 5/11 or so, and it vanished, I was not advised by this forum of any errors so, I am a bit confused? Any who.., To carry on this subject, I have to say there were lots of responses to my post. It was kind of like duct tapping bananas to the gorillas cage. You can only imagine how much this subject raised cain with the traders and the Z-sters, not sure why but.., I had a hoot of a time reading the heated replies. One thing is for certain. The Z has a legend of it own. I discovered it back when I was a kid (16), now 43 (OMG). My dad was buying his second Nissan pick up (copper) He was trading in his orange 1978 Datsun pick up. As they debated, I was bored and wander into the showroom floor and there it was... a silver & black 1984 300ZX Turbo. As I sat in it, I swore to myself, I was going to get me a Z someday. Well, many years later and what a horrible many years later and many other cars, I have a Z. Ok.., It's not the most fastest car, or the best of the best performance car. However, there is no man who loves cars that cannot deny the Z, its heritage, its body style, the fun. This car defiantly is a fair-lady but with high heels and a whip. Not many cars are you are willing to cut loose with, push to the limits and she responds precisely and still gets you to work and back. The Z is the best sports car for your money and you can't help to be enveloped by its performance and looks. She is your baby and the fun filled memories stack up pricelessly. Doubt me? I challenge you ex-Zsters or you contemplators, when your by yourself, turn off your VDC, do a donut or two then, drive down a long road with the windows down, take it all in, only then will you HAVE to agree, there is nothing like the Z.

Respects~

Yes, it's gone! I searched for it, but it was removed/disappeared! Threads get "closed if they turn sour", but yours is gone! And it was a good thread!

You almost brought me to tears. That was beautiful. I almost didn't open this thread again. You took a crappy thread and made it golden. You made the words clear of the overly emotional and cranky Z owners such as I, in which my bluntness is easily misconstrued to deliver a different message. Lol.
If the Z ever needed a public speaker it should be you. I think you nailed every true Z enthiasts emotions in very few but extremely impactful words. :bowrofl:
:driving: ride or die Z style!

I love my Z

I don't know why anyone would sell their Z. I have heard they are F-L-A-W-L-E-S-S!

Yeah, as I keep reading these threads, the notion that I struck gold when I got my used ('04 Touring Coupe) gets more and more reinforced.

I got rich off of 2004.5 futures trading in 2003.5

Lost it all in the great VDC-off crash of 2009, though.

The little VDC off crash back in April almost ruined me, but luckily I was able to recover before it got too bad. My financial bases were all mis-matched, which is why it hurt me more than others.

All of those people telling you to diverify your grip were wrong. You want to concentrate it!

I survived that one because I had to pull most of my funds out after the rock chip scandal.
