Converting from whp to bhp always involves some fuzzy math, but we can assume on a Dynojet the average 370 loses about 17% of its power through the driveline in stock form.

But this number can change from day to day and especially dyno to dyno.

If 17% is the magic number? That means the Z is overrated. Crank to wheels its supposed be 15%. I'm guessing the british 326hp at the crank is the right number???

Very interesting. The genesis coupe 3.8, is underrated by 20hp. It runs 306 but runs about 280hp at the wheels. We run 326 at the crank as well. Crazy how much faster we are considering realistically, we are running the same exact power.

The Z has a very inefficient drivetrain, hence higher loss.
