Good news everyone!

Looks like those waiting on their orders to go through from Nissan have a little less time to wait now as all of Nissans factories in Japan are back up and running :) follow the link to read the press release from nissan corporate Nissan/Infiniti - Japan Factories Gear Up for Recovery

Looks like good news for you. Hope it speeds up your order.

Z_ealot 05-08-2011 08:48 PM

i'd say 2 months from production to delivery is pretty fast already considering the production run for my Z is slated for June and they are delivering it in late July/early August lol. More than anything though it's good to see that the people in Japan look like they are bouncing back pretty well from the earthquake.

Good news no doubt, i'm waiting on the 2012 model before i order. I agree the main thing is that japan is able to continue after such a catastrophe.

I agree it shows Japan is getting on with life while they still are not out of the woods regarding earthquakes and nuclear plant.

Don't feel left out...this is the first I've heard this and I work for Nissan Corporate (although I have to admit, I am a little behind reading my corporate communications email). :)

phelan 05-09-2011 11:19 AM

Yeah that's the same thing i heard kenchan regarding the aftershocks, from what i've been reading also though the pacific northwest here in the states is due for a similar quake/tsunami to the one that hit Japan very soon as they have been recording the ground moving almost 2 feet a year up towards the coasts of washington. Oh and thanks for the comment on my Z, i hope to have her very soon also :D
