As an owner of a Z why would you belittle your car. Seems strange. You do realise that you have a car with over 90 to 95% of ability of those two cars but at approx 50% of the price, and you talk like this?

Oh I'm not talking down on my car at all. I love my car and I know what it is and what it's capable of. All I meant was she went through all that and quite possibly ruined her life over a 30k USD car which is basically what a Z is (technically it was a 04' 350Z so it most likely wasn't even 30k USD). I'm in the mindset that if you're gonna do something like that go big and step it up for a 60k+ car. Kind of like robbers who rob small convenience stores and get caught -- if you're gonna take a gamble like that go for the big leagues and rob a bank. :hello::D:roflpuke2:

I think I heard the car had ridiculously low miles. Which is important, since the commute from their location to most Ivy league schools is a long way.

She's 17 and probably just thought her mommy would never do such a thing like calling the police. I fear for my generation of kids sometimes, especially if she is supposed the be an honor student and be smart. :facepalm:
