Actually I'm 28. LOL, I was speaking with a co-worker and he said if I where to mod my Z with everything that makes it a nismo that I could take it to Nissan and have them certify my car as a nismo. But if this does not exist I'd rather save myself the money and go beyond nismo.

Since its not possible and its confirmed my co-worker maybe full of hot air I will not attempt to make my car into something it is not. However I do have plans on installing the Nismo bodykit and rims, as for suspension, breaks, interior, and performace mods I do plan on going way beyond what Nissan has done with the nismo. You can do whatever you want and put as many stickers/bedges on the car as you like but, nissan won't do a thing in terms of "nismo cert" or whatever your bootybuddy co-worker called it. They make the base model that you can add the sport and or the touring pgks too, and they make the nismo model that's it. :tiphat:

You can also but all the parts and make a Shelby Mustang, but it's still not signed. Love my Nismo, worth every penny extra I paid for it!!

Just get the S-tune body kit, tune it and call it a day.

You can even put a Nismo badge on it -- in fact, one comes with the S-tune front lip.

I wonder if this co-worker has a "Nissan Certified" Base-to-Nismo Sentra?

sigh.... I've noticed the quality of our forum lately and the responses to the OP's. Rarely are the responses on topic anymore, nor are they helpful responses to the OP. Please try to keep on the topic guys and tone down the sarcasm. I don't want to see this forum go down the tubes like the others. That's been the reason why I joined this forum. Contributors were knowledgeable and respectful of others.

Now in response to the OP's first question, my answer is no, it will not be a nismo. It may "look" like a nismo, but will not actually "be" one. But the choice is yours, do whatever floats your boat. I like both the Nismo and the base model, but I chose the base model due to price... I just couldn't afford the Nismo at the time.
