I read in other mags that there would be no power increase at all. Someone is getting misinformation. It would be nice to see a power boost though.

I read that to that there will be no power increase. I assume super street magazine had a miss print or something.

Yeah I read about the boost button, but in reality it seems rather retarded. Is anyone going to notice given what power it's already making? That only translates to 14 hp at the 5200 rpm mark.

MC 04-07-2009 09:28 PM

ya its bascially designed to be for overtaking another car on a track.

i havent seen the dyno curve so it could possibly be a little more stout than that but nissan is claiming 14 peak. so who knows

Thats what I heard.

I'm sure that using the boost button will void the warranty too.

:icon18: That's likely right on the money too. Nissan is getting a little "motherly" with the GT-R as of late.

MightyBobo 04-08-2009 11:09 AM

I think its the GT-R cup-car version was going to have 550+ HP.
