370z price GOES DOWN BY TSUNAMI?????

ok everyone knows about earthquack in japan right???

I am korean and it's not that i don't like them and don't really care what

really happend to them but i do love their video games, girls and cars.

So please don't take it personally or get offended what i am about to ask

ya

I will be purchasing 370z in August this year and my question is.........

Will 370Z or any other japanese cars price go down because

they got owned by tsunami?

My knowledge is they should sell it cheaper than normal because

since their country got FXXX by tsunami so they should sell cars or any

other stuff cheaper than normal. That way more people purchases it

so they can get $$ to build houses for their country.

Its like Toyota got recalled and price went down u know wut i mean?

I would like to hear your opinions Thanks!

You might want to crack open a basic economics book and read the first chapter on Supply and Demand.

Take an example that we can all feel right now. Oil. As unrest in the Middle East worsens and the potential for oil availability to drop increases....gas prices go through the roof.

With the Z, the destruction of the cars that were about to ship and closing of factories will lead to longer delivery times for people placing new orders (they'll have to rebuild and honor those whose cars got tsunami'd). Cars at the dealer may sell for slightly more since people who may have placed an order would now rather buy a car on the lot instead of wait longer.

I do not think prices will come down, unless they sell off damaged 370's.

No, I don't know what you mean. Your logic is pretty flawed. If need to understand simply supply and demand economics.

The supply of available Nissan Z's will likely diminish from the halt of production and rebuilding of infrastructure at the Nissan plants.

From reading this article it seems Nissan is halting production in the short term

Toyota, Honda, Nissan Plants Shut Down After Earthquake And Tsunami Hit Japan – AltTransport: Your Guide to Smarter Ways of Getting Around

This will sharply impact the price of Z, as demand for the car will remain constant yet supply has dwindled down, meaning the prices will increases. This is already happening in South East Asia where imported Nissan cars are being priced higher.

Just the screen name is enough to get a ban.

tonybui 03-13-2011 11:07 AM

wow, they just had a disaster and you used the words "owned" and "f**ked up" ???

You have no respect whatsoever for what the Japanese had provided us with great cars and technology.

This might be bias but most (not all) Korean guys I met really hate the Japanese but still buy their products, wtf ?? get it over with, the war has ended long ago.

KyleBucket 03-13-2011 11:11 AM

Yeah, you're ignorant to the situation and immature as all hell. Grow the **** up, avoid the Z, and go educate yourself, you jackass. Hell, did the Japanese create Rosetta Stone because your English sounds like that of a 3-year old. Buy that for cheap from them, too.

SmoothZ 03-13-2011 11:13 AM

Wow, 18 users viewing this thread.

I suggest this guy get a perma-ban. Wait till Jordo sees this thread. :ugh2:
