370z engine will last long?

So I'm looking to get a 370z 2009 and it already has 29k miles on it. The car was bought in October 2009 so its about 16 months (which means about 60 miles a day) and it has been pushed few times above 140 mph (probably more than a few). Is that going to be a problem down the road with the engine? How do you determine if the engine has been damaged or not? Can 370z engine handle that kind of push?

sure so long as you keep oil in it. make sure the guy kept good oil in it on a regular basis no more than 4000 between changes or i'd walk if it was run like that.

Why would it be damaged? Dude these engines are built for hundreds of thousands of miles, theyre simple V6 NA engines made for every day driving. You have a Nissan, not a Bugatti.... they last very long (that's what she said).

I say buy it then drive it off a cliff and get the insurance to get you a new one.

p.s. How do you know it's been to 140+ more than a few times ? I've had mine since jan. 09 and never gone that fast. :ugh2:

Go ahead and buy it.

this isnt a hyundai, the car was made to be driven fast.

140 wont hurt....but why stop at 140?

Japanese engines are designed very well? Thats why their resale value is pretty good.
You shouldn't have any issues with proper maintenance.
Good Luck

Having your oil analyzed will tell you what's going on inside the engine. You can see if there is any contaminants that "can" tell you of internal damage.
