Depends on whether or not I flirt with the obviously gay baristo, but usually I can get the stick for free. ;)

Oh, you meant for the drink...

Not sure where I might have inferred that, but everyone who pays taxes technically contributes so there you go. If you were suggesting voluntary donations? Yeah, I don't think so.

Maybe we should drill for our own oil instead of giving brazil 10 billion to drill in the gulf and shut down our drilling.
Oil companies only make 3-5% profit off their oil sells, I'm in the food business , I make 25-30% markup on the food I sell.. who's the bad guy

Traders are artifically inflating oil furutre prices which is driving the price of gas upward!

That is what's happening. Inflated price on whats expected. Which doesn't always play out. Then it takes three times longer to go down.

Give me free tuition for my children, free healthcare and a full retirement SS pension after 25 years of work like the europeans get. F*%k it, I'll pay $10 at the tank. But we don't get that and our tax dollars go to bailing out companies, weapons and space programs. Things like having an educated or healthy america is of no importance... and that's fine to FTW. But if its like that. Keep prices of gas down. N I'm not buyin a prius. That's garbage.
Pretty much, you can't compare a socialist democratic system to a capitolist one. Its apples and oranges and ideals are completely different. Not knocking capitolism either. Just being realistic.

This is literally 08 repeating itself. We didn't learn ****.

The US is not producing oil. Saudi Arabia is limiting oil production due to the unrest. Only countries who produce large amount of oil = win. Russia is producing at full capacity and making bank.

And here I thought simply ordering a grande white mocha frappuccino was your way of flirting with the gay baristo. Or is that a barista?

Has any one checked Groupon for deals on fuel and gay coffee drinks?

SPOHN 03-10-2011 06:53 AM

I went to to the gas pump yesterday and stuck my card in the reader and it said "stick em up".

I stuck my card in and it said "Ooh that was nice, do it again."

(You have to re-swipe the card for purchases over $75)

kenchan 03-10-2011 11:03 AM

as far as SUV's being used for other purposes besides transport, that's a valid point. however, i rarely see an SUV with more than 1 person in it, and its usually a mom driving somewhere.

I get 26-27mpg on the highway often. The city stuff is what kills you. Below is an average of what I got after about 35min on the highway.
