Happy 1yr Anniversary to my Z

1yr ago today I pulled the trigger.

For my Z's birthday I ordered a F.I. exhaust. It's been an awesome year; no complaints whatsoever.

how many miles did you put on the car after 1 year?

steveg78 03-01-2011 10:28 PM

10,500...I put a lot on fast when I first got it and put 1.5k since August.

Congrats! My one year anniversary is coming up on the 6th also. No complaints here either and I'll probably have 24k miles by this weekend lol

wow. mine is 1 year and 1 month old but i only drive it on the weekends so it has about 4,300 mi. i used to drive it daily but on my way to work, there's a patch of road that has a lot of loose rocks. one day one of those rocks chipped my windshield. afterward, i decided to retire the car from daily duty and get another daily driver :)

I bought mine in May, but the state of CA sent the bill for registration last week. I think they are broke.

same here. 1 year 1 month. but i have 4700 miles.

the first 10 months i drove daily but was tired of stop-and-go traffic, so i bought a DD and the Z is now a weekend car.

steveg78 03-02-2011 08:46 AM

Yeah I was eager to get through that break-in and enjoyed it a lot last summer. It's not my DD but more of a fair-weather cruiser that I will take to work on sunny days, no road salt, above freezing etc. Also for weekend cruises and trips when I know I won't be putting it in bad situations... i.e. crowded parking lots etc. As long as the weather is nice I will drive it.

Here's a good one for you Californians!

With all of California's problems the good things like "We don't work" thing and no salt on the road, are towards the top.

The CA video is too funny. +1 coming your way.

SPOHN 03-02-2011 10:14 AM

I hope you bought your z something for it's b-day?
