it would have to be $10,000 or get 150 MPG

I agree that it has Z design, but I think it would be the ugliest Z in the line. But the articles say that this is really a design study rather than a direct-to-market concept.

Shamu 02-18-2011 11:21 AM

I think you can potentially gleen what next Z will look like from this however. More pronounced fenders, cleaner front end, more cut off rear.

This is totally a prototype. But it does hint to what they are thinking.

Well, we'll see. If it does become the next Z, they'll tone it down a bit, and then perhaps the design will grow on me. Early stage concepts like this are a bit far out, gauging the reactions to various aesthetic elements and refining them as they go.

Red__Zed 02-18-2011 11:31 AM

I like the direction they are heading in with this concept, tbh.

Interesting concept here. I am wondering about the tampon string haning out of its rear end though.

Sibze 02-18-2011 11:39 AM

weird

spearfish25 02-18-2011 11:42 AM

All you nay-sayers. What if they told you this was the next Z, had a 480hp V8 MID-engine, and weighed 2,800lbs. Exactly, you'd have to change your underpants you'd be so excited. And you'd LOVE how it looked.

Looks alright overall, something off-putting about the front end though. Lack of fangs maybe lol

Overall its okay but needs work

definitionxmk 02-18-2011 12:29 PM

definitely looks like an RX-8 @_@

To be honest, I'd rather have it be electric.

It won't happen for at least ten years, but can you imagine a sports car at 30k that was purely electric?

I'd buy it. Instant torque is an awesome thing.

edit: also, I think this thing looks awesome.

ZeeingAround 02-18-2011 06:50 PM

Tesla has an electric car available in less than a year in the 30k to 40k.

It's a regular sedan though. I can't imagine it will be sporty, considering the Roadster is 100k.

Junior370z 02-18-2011 08:14 PM

Looks weird to me...

Lug 02-18-2011 08:47 PM

It would look better if they would lose the silly looking blue hood lights.

Like a lot of women I've known, The ESFLOW looks better from behind than head on.

I wonder if there is a paper bag big enough to cover up its face...

Viera 02-18-2011 09:49 PM

I think it looks cute...i wouldn't buy it though. The rear-end kinda reminds me of a Crossfire.
