Guys, c'mon - the OP isn't really trying to start a debate on whether or not the Nismo is "better". He hears others saying that it is and he's just asking what the differences are between his fully loaded Z and a Nismo.

To the OP - there's not a whole lot of differences, mainly the differences in body panels (maybe some slight extra down force), I think it's rated at slightly higher horsepower, and cosmetic differences. That's about it.

The NISMO gets that nifty damper thingy in front of the radiator.
Doesn't the NISMO also come with different dampers and springs?

Ah, I just looked it up here:
2011 Nissan 370Z Coupe | Vehicle Specs | Nissan USA

So based on your question, aside from the NISMO bodywork, you don't have:

- NISMO-tuned suspension with increased spring, dampening and stabilizer rates
- NISMO reinforced 3-point front strut tower brace
- NISMO front and rear performance body dampers
- Wider Wheels: 19" x 9.5" (front) and 19" x 10.5" (rear) 5-spoke NISMO super-lightweight forged alloy wheels by RAYSŪ
- Aerodynamic Aids: Front/Rear: Negative-lift includes unique front fascia with splitter spoiler, aerodynamic side sills, negative-lift rear diffuser and rear spoiler
- NISMO Gauges, Interior Stitching, Plaques, etc...

Disclaimer: the above is a factual answer to the OP's question

who cares what someone else thinks? The next time someone else says "mine is better than yours", just say, "wow your right dude, you win". Get over the ego issues and just enjoy your car. It will set you free.

^you should search some of his past posts in the AT vs. MT debates calling people names......don't be so hard on him. He's at least 6 and a half. He loves drama.

Uh nismos just look flashier thats all.
I forgot how much the price difference was i think it's about $7,000.00 difference.
You could've gotten a sports + base + Forced Induction for the price of a nismo and walk it.

I got mine used with 5000 miles on it for 32G. :happydance: It was an older guy who thought the ride was to ruff. I guess it was ruff considering the spacers were still in. :rofl2:

Damn, I hate you! :bowrofl:

You have a 370Z loaded with GTM Twin Turbo stage 2, that you paid $48K and are asking that question...

BTW, $48K even loaded is a little too much for me.

Anyway 370Z loaded vs 370Z Nismo it comes down what the owner wanted.

I prefer and thats why I decided to go with the Base + Sport Pkg ($32K OTD), then you can go the way you want with the mods.

RCGsupra 01-23-2011 07:50 PM

sounds like the OP is insecure.

theDreamer 01-23-2011 07:57 PM

Oh, one major advantage to your car is the Nismo only comes in manual. :stirthepot:
