Good 'ole USPS.

Can't hate on them though... you could have shipped FedEx.

Answer your phones. They call SEVERAL times before canceling a trouble call. A tech must run to each address if its an install, or a trouble call for no dial on the phone service as well. So there should be no reason you miss your appointment.

Really. I had bought something from within state and it ended up 5 states away threw Fed EX. Should of been next day ended up being five. That isn't the only issue I have had with them. Now the wheels I just ordered are coming threw them. The sender claimed Fed EX makes less stops. But I have a perfect history with UPS.

I second the efff fedex. I have never had an issue with UPS or USPS other than the feds are kind slow. I look for other sources if I find out a store ships Fedex.

SkyZ 01-18-2011 11:16 PM

better than being home all day and WAITING for the package just to find out it had been "delivered" to your house and checking the securi cam footage to find out the guy left the package on ur doorstep without ringing the door bell and an hour later a random stranger comes up and steals the package from your doorstep.

ImportConvert 01-19-2011 04:59 AM

UPS has falsified delivery information on an ORM-D delviery (ammunition) to my address before, even stating the time it was delivered, and how it was delivered ("Customer received in person, time 1847", or something) (it wasn't). It was delivered the next day.

USPS has delivered both mail I have sent, and mail sent to me, over ONE MONTH late before (w/in CONUS!),and the addresses were clearly marked, neither being returned to the sender. It simply took forever, and one envelope looked like someone had trampled across it with dirty boots on or something. In both cases money-orders were being sent, and in another case, I had mailed someone something they bought from me. In all but one case (A friend sending me $ for something I sold him), it seriously strained relations between seller/buyer.

I have only dealt with Fedex ONCE. I did a COD shipment on a Benelli M4 COL stock to a gentleman going to Iraq in a couple of days. Everything went 100% as it should.

I have not used DHL or anyone else.

I would estimate that roughly 5% of the things I have sent/had sent to me by USPS have been mishandled.

About half that for UPS.

UPS customer-service is much better than USPS. USPS is, in my general experience, just a bunch of bums who do the bare minimum to get by, are not familiar with their job responsibilities or how to perform them, and are generally unhelpful, when compared with the average UPS worker.

A UPS worker did, on one occasion, need education about the protocol for shipping ammunion, as well as needing clarification that an FFL is not required to be copied/on file when shipping a firearm. They called corporate and corporate quickly advised them of policy and all was well. Other than that, they took most things in great stride, even when I walked in with Ar-15 uppers an all sorts of business and had them wrap it simply because wrapping things annoys me and they do it better than I would without a lot of cursing and wasted packing supplies.

I concur?

I've been shipping all of my business packages through FedEx since 2003. Last year, we shipped about $300,000 worth through them. In all of the years doing so, very RARELY have I ever had a problem with anything getting delivered, damaged, or lost.

On the other hand, since the whole "flat rate" shipping has come out, customers think it's reliable and cheap. Cheap yes... reliable no. I've lost more packages in the last year with USPS than I have in the last 7-8 years with FedEx.

Also, stops depend on where you live. If you live in FL and ship to TX, it's going to TN before going West.

I've had trouble with USPS in the past couple of months. They lost my package. The buyer filed a paypal dispute and got his money back. Thanks USPS.

I've never had a problem with FedEx or UPS, but have found FedEx to be cheaper.

I do, and thats why I love it when people complain about missing appointments when they know it was their own fault. Being late however, is an entirely different story.

I use FedEx whenever possible. I've never had a single problem with them. Arrives on time and the package is in good condition. UPS on the other hand, I used to work for them, I know how packages are treated and nearly everyone of them come to my door looks as if it was kicked all the way from Alaska to Florida.

USPS is garbage. Its difficult to accurately track packages with them and **** always ends up lost.
