Why is it that everyone here is so nice and welcoming to new people to the forums/z community ?

I love the wealth of information here and I love how accepting
Everyone is.

What's your reason for coming to 370z.com?
Better yet why did you get a 2 seater?

I may be overthinking it but I also think that the price of the car, though not terribly expensive where you could run into some cockier folks, is priced high enough to keep less mature individuals out of the community. Those of us youngsters (Im 23) who can afford the car tend to be a bit more mature about it. You'll find when some younger guys have their parents buy them a Z as a first car and post in here about a streetrace they won they get a good deal of haters thrown their way.

Lots of good people and good information on this forum. Its where all of my limited knowledge on the Z came from.

I love a two-seater! When I bought my z this is the first place I came. :)

yah, but we first do an initiation of teasing newbs and watch how they react. if they respond coolly, then they are friends. if they respond like they got something stuck up their underpants then we keep teasing him/her more.

Actually if you've been here a lot, you'll notice most of drivers here are mustang and camaro owners. They're nice because they regret their decision they should have bought the Z instead.

I was working. I didn't get scared away I was just like wow when I saw that.

Repo my future z means I'm on a waiting list to buy a 2010-2011 that the bank takes ownership of. As in default on your loan I buy your car.

There's nice people in these forums, a couple nuts (we call them enthusiasts though, shhh), but willing to lend you their knowledge ...and an ego punch. >_<

But whatever you do, don't ever mention a Civic [any model] in comparison to the Z. Or you get 3 pages of replies to the effect of:

I think when you buy a Z you are into "cars". I think only a car nut really is into 2 seaters. So when we meet other car nuts we are like hey join the crowd! There is no need to be hating on anybody.

But one sure fire way to get the crowd to turn on you, post pictures of your car with stickers/decals or other tom foolery and the crowd gets ugly quick haha.

As to why i bought a 2 seater. Well i drive solo like 99.9% of the time so why not?

I bought the z because I genuinely like the car. It has sharp looks, people are always starin at the car. Also it's a sports car but Remains relatively cheap to maintain, insure and afford.

Whenever I see someone give a bunch of sheet to someone else, I'm gonna say "Wow, did you see him go kenchan on that guy?!?"

Oh, and I have a vtech Civic WITH Miata doors!

if its taking a while for you to find a Z, i might recommend either a Pontiac WS6 or an Infiniti G20
